Clark Neighbors- After a total of 40 years in the commodity world and 26 years with BIS Commodities, Clark retired from his active role as owner in 2024 and has moved to a consulting position within the company. Clark is a native of Iowa and was raised on a grain/livestock farm in the southwest section of the state. After graduating from Iowa State University, he spent a few years with a commercial grain firm before entering the bro­kerage business.

Brad Dennis- After 20 years with BIS Commodities, Brad has become its President and owner in December 2024. Joining in 2004, he brought with him 12 years of experience on the trading floors of both the CME and CBOT. Brad is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a BA in Finance. His business degree, along with his knowledge of currency and interest rate markets brings an added dimension to BIS Commodities.

Tim Wegmann- Tim joined BIS Commodities in March, 2009. He was raised on a dairy farm in Northeast Iowa and is a graduate of Iowa State University. Tim started in the Cooperative system in agronomy in 1993 and is a Certified Crop advisor. He has spent the last 12 years as a Branch Manager for a Cooperative grain elevator. Tim brings with him a well rounded background in agriculture.

Amber Jordan- Joining in February 2021, Amber is a native of eastern Iowa, having been raised on a grain/livestock farm near Lisbon. A graduate of Iowa State University in Agricultural Business, Amber has worked for the past 9 years in the commercial farmer-direct grain business, helping farmers mitigate their price risk. With her husband and 2 young children, Amber currently farms east of Marion, raising corn, soybeans, Sim-Angus cows, and show pigs.

Brandt Heitman- Brandt is our newest broker, joining in November 2024. Brandt was raised on a farm near Williamsburg in eastern Iowa.  Graduating in 2013 with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Iowa State University, Brandt worked as an engineer for 4 years before changing career paths to his true calling within the agricultural industry. In 2017, Brandt became a futures broker and paired this with crop/livestock insurance for risk mitigation strategies. Crops and livestock have been his primary focus to help farmers with their marketing decisions, but Brandt also likes to dissect the global macro landscape and how it impacts our ag and commodity markets.

Collette Bates- Joining us in December 2016 as our Office Manager, Collette is back in her native state after having lived in Arkansas and Illinois.  A native of northeast Iowa, she holds degrees from Drake University and the University of Arkansas. Collette is excited to use her knowledge and skills to assist you. When not working, Collette can be found spending time with her family, volunteering in the community, or cheering on her beloved Arkansas Razorbacks (Go Hogs!).
