   Most Livestock Contracts Close Tuesday Higher

   Still no cash cattle trade has developed and trade will likely be delayed
until Thursday or Friday.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

   Although some of the live cattle contracts were pressured to trade lower
earlier Tuesday, by the afternoon's close most of the live cattle contracts
closed higher, along with the feeder cattle and lean hog contracts too. Still
no cash cattle trade has developed. March corn is up 1/4 cent per bushel and
May soybean meal is up $1.90. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 378.64
points and NASDAQ is up 243.33 points.
